Hotel Du Vin & Bistro Brighton is often praised for its excellent location, practically in the North Laines and just a minute from the sea and the pier. Guests commonly enjoy the spacious and beautifully decorated rooms, some featuring roll-top baths and large showers, complemented by L'Occitane products. Breakfast is generally considered nice and of good quality; however, a few guests have noted noise from the patio impacting afternoon rest.

The staff was always on duty, helpful after a flight to Gatwick.
The beautiful room was very dark. A small window faced an internal walkway. Scaffolding covered the walkway, so it reminded me of a prison (I was pretty annoyed).

Acceptable stay with minor letdowns

unpainted wallearly work
My room seemed a little neglected, I will say. An area on the wall looked as if repairs occurred, yet it was never repainted, sadly. This caused me some concern. The cleaner's cupboard has an air vent facing my room. I could hear employees collecting things. It seemed they started their work early as well. I was disturbed.
